TERMS & CONDITIONS

LOCATION: Kodjo is currently based out of Melbourne, Australia.

PRICING: Kodjo's appointment minimum is $350 and he prices per piece rather than by the hour. 

• PALM SIZE  $350-$500 (including deposit)
• HAND SIZE $500-$700 (including deposit)
• FULL DAY $1200-$1500 (including deposit)

For larger-scale work or appointments for multiple designs, you may be booked in full-day rate. Please note these are only a minimum estimates. Your final quote may change at Kodjo's discretion if revisions are made to the idea, design, size, placement, or overall scope of work.  

PAYMENT: The $200 at checkout is equivalent to placing a deposit. The remaining balance is due in CASH upon completion of your tattoo. If you want Kodjo to consider taking payment via bank transfer, please discuss this with us in advance as a 5% surcharge will be applied.

DESIGNS: Kodjo does not show designs in advance. Small changes to the prepared design can be discussed in person on the day of your appointment, and can occasionally be made before tattooing. If you decide to alter your design idea and/or dramatically alter the size, your appointment may need to be rescheduled for a later date and the price may change. If you decide to change your idea all together, please provide at least one week's notice. If we are notified any later than this a $200 redesign fee will be required that will NOT go towards the cost of your tattoo.

 

RESCHEDULING: If for any reason you need to reschedule, Kodjo requires 72 hours notice prior to the time of your appointment. Any change to your appointment time after this will forfeit your original deposit and an additional deposit will be required to reserve a new appointment. In the event that Kodjo needs to change either your appointment date or time, we will do our best to notify you at least 14 days prior to the date of your appointment. If you are unwilling or unable to reschedule in this situation we will happily refund your deposit in full.

CANCELLATIONS: If you are late for your appointment this may affect the length of time we have available. If you are more than 20 minutes late to your appointment you will be considered a no-show. If you are a no-show or cancel less than 72 hours prior to the time of your appointment FOR ANY REASON, you will forfeit your original deposit and an additional deposit will be required to reserve a new appointment.

APPOINTMENT: Tattooing can be a lengthy process. Discussing the final design and setup, as well as discussing aftercare and breakdown can add 1 to 2 hours to the length of your appointment. Please allow plenty of time, and discuss any same-day engagements you may have in advance. Please let us know if you are traveling long distances or are operating on any sort of time constraint.

ART: All designs produced by Kodjo remain his intellectual property and may be re-used for any purpose at his discretion.

PHOTOGRAPHS:  You will likely be asked to have your photo taken. By agreeing you grant the unrestricted right to the images taken for promotional or editorial purposes. Any restrictions or questions must be stated clearly and immediately.
